Born and raised in Vancouver, with degrees in Zoology and Architecture, Peter has been working as a full time artist since 1990. Initially showing in numerous galleries across Canada and the Untied Sates,  he opened his own gallery on Granville Island in 2001.

The work is predominantly wood-based 2 1/2 and 3 dimensional sculpture which is finished with a variety of painting processes. The 2 1/2 dimensional work is wall-hung landscape and abstract imagery, painted on built up layers of wood. The 3D work is mostly figurative.
